Kirby can acquire this mode by inhaling different cars that appears in the stages. There are two types of cars that Kirby can use for Car Mouth: the first, which is seen in most promotional material, is a blue buggy-like car, while the second is a red race car decorated with yellow and blue accents. In at least some cases, the Car Mouth is used in racetrack-like courses where Kirby can set record times by reaching the finish.
